Cognitive Vulnerability to Stress in Individuals at Risk for Alzheimer's Disease (Stress-AD)
This NIH-funded study aims to study individual differences in the response to stress and genes related to the stress response as predictors of cognitive functioning in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). A longitudinal portion will investigate the endocrine stress response and genetic factors as predictors of cognitive decline and blood-based biomarkers of neurodegeneration at a 2-year follow-up.
